The Chinese International Piano Competition is one of a series of world music events sponsored by New Tang Dynasty (NTD) Television. Its purpose is to provide an atmosphere of musical exchange where the Chinese pianists from around the world can share a source of inspiration.

Date & Location

Preliminaries in Taiwan will be held in end of July of 2013 (tentative).
    - Preliminaries; Winner Announcement & Concert.

Competitions in the USA will be held in end of September of 2013 (tentative).
    - Day One (Thu): Contestant Registration, orientation & rehearsal;
    - Day Two (Fri): Preliminaries;
    - Day Three (Sat): Semifinals;
    - Day Four (Sun): Finals (including Future Stars Performance & Award Ceremony).

Awards

    - One Gold Award will receive US$10,000;
    - One Silver Award will receive US$3,000;
    - One Bronze Award will receive US$1,000;
    - A number of outstanding performance award winners.
